This page is for discussion about proposed and ongoing service projects and other ways that our club can contribute to our community. Please chime in and make improvement suggestions or share your ideas for future projects....
In our first two meetings we have discussed several ways to contribute to our community including simple projects like sweeping roads and sidewalks, beach clean-ups, or building boards for charity. We have also discussed larger projects like advocating and fundraising for the proposed Walton County Skatepark, starting a Surfrider Foundation Quad chapter, or providing skate and surf opportunities for local youth. Let's get started with some of the easy ones while we keep generating ideas. What do you think?
Thanks for commenting on our blog. We value your interest in promoting surfing and skating as healthy and enjoyable sports. Please be polite and keep your comments suitable for all ages (our club is comprised of school aged children). Now, tell us what you are thinking... Thanks!
